Testing

This will be a blog about Fantasy Football and any other Fantasy Sports we feel like writing about (we being myself and my co-blogger Mike Montague). Blog up and running, will be posting something soon.

Monty:
I've been playing various fantasy sports since 2000. It all started with baseball, and it has escalated from there. I love playing fantasy football, but I admit, my first love will always be fantasy baseball.

I have a beautiful wife who puts up with my fantasy sports addiction. I also have a son, who will hopefully play in fantasy leagues with me at some point in the future. I love to bowl, and play in a weekly league with Wes. I also enjoy playing softball and golf in my spare time.

It would be a shame for me to not mention the fact that I am also a big Xbox 360 gamer. Don't be surprised if you see a game review from time to time.

Wes:
I've been playing fantasy sports for about the same length of time as Mike. I joined my first fantasy football league back in 2002, and have been hooked on fantasy sports every since. I generally participate in baseball, football, and hockey throughout the year.

Aside from fantasy sports, I enjoy being a father of two little girls that I get to see every weekend, and spending time with my wife Alisha. Like Mike said, we are both avid bowlers, and I have recently gotten back into a game that I truly love: golf.

PC gaming and my PS3 keep me busy when the above fail to keep my interest. I plan to keep a "currently playing" post up for people to see.

What I'm Playing

Wes:
Currently back to playing World of Warcraft a few hours a night. 85 Warrior and 85 Priest, preparing my professions and alts for the Mists of Pandara launch coming up on September 25th.

Monty:
Halo: Reach. Now before you scream at your computer because I'm still playing a two year old game, you must understand my Halo history. I've been playing Halo almost as long as I've been playing fantasy sports. In fact, some of my buddies and I still play together every week, thanks to one of man's greatest inventions, Xbox Live! Now back to the game... I will never get on my soapbox and claim Reach is the best Halo game out there. It's far from it (Halo 2 is the best, BTW). However, since Halo 2 is no longer supported on Xbox live, we are forced to play the next best thing, which brings us back to Reach. We are all very anxious for the upcoming release of Halo 4 this fall.
